ODs primarily see their own patients and help create policies, procedures, and schedules. Workup technicians, scribes, and contact lens personnel are provided. The team of ophthalmologists is personable and pro-optometry. They are skilled in cataracts, oculoplastics, LASIK, and state-of-the-art glaucoma and AMD treatments. Office equipment is modern (automated phoropters, OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, EMR, etc.). The office décor is comfortable, and the optical is couture. Visalia boasts a unique local flair and a reasonable cost of living, and it’s two hours from surf or snow.
