Michigan Medicine’s Kellogg Eye Center is dedicated to improving lives around the world by enhancing vision. Located in culturally rich and diverse Ann Arbor, the department has over 100 clinical and research faculty and more than 500 employees in 10 different locations in Southeast Michigan. The department is deliberate in fostering a culture centered around our guiding principles of teamwork, caring, inclusion, innovation, and integrity.
We are seeking to enhance our faculty by adding a contact lens-residency trained optometrist to join our team of providers at one of our community sites and our main campus. Proficiency and contact lens residency training from an accredited optometry residency program is required and experience preferred. Applicants should be willing to work in more than one office setting, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
This faculty appointment, as a clinician at Michigan Medicine in the University of Michigan Medical School, is ideal for those who thrive in seeing challenging cases, fostering interprofessional relationships, and pursuing academic excellence. Opportunities in innovative program development that address the clinical and research needs of our patients and contributions toward teaching are highly valued.
Requirements
We welcome applicants to apply who are residency trained, and Michigan licensed or eligible. This full-time position can be either on the clinical or instructional track depending on individual qualifications and career aspirations.
